I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Nadia's Story...
Nadia is a gorgeous 8 month old fawn female Boxer puppy who just loves to play, play, play! Like her namesake, famous Romanian gymnast Nadia Comaneci, she is quite the little athlete! She spends her days doing somersaults and cartwheels with her doggie playmates and also enjoys splashing around in sprinklers and wading pools (what Southern girl wouldn't in this heat!)

She came into the B.A.R.C. program after she was dumped at a north Florida shelter because she had a bladder infection, which caused her to urinate on the floor of her former owner. B.A.R.C. has placed her on antibiotics to clear up the infection and soon she will be ready to go home with some lucky family! Her new family must be willing work on housebreaking with her and must be committed to providing the level of exercise that a young Boxer needs. If you think you are the right person for Nadia, please fill out an application. Nadia is being fostered by MoJo's Backyard in Tallahassee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nadia, a Tallahassee Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
