Abigail's Story...
Abigail was just rescued from the shelter and needs a great home! This little girl is as sweet as can be....she is a tiny bit shy at first, but give her an hour or two and you won't be able to keep her off your lap! Abigail is 18-20lbs or so and about 10-12mos old. She came from a home with other dogs - sadly their owner passed away and the entire group ended up at the shelter. We can tell Abigail was loved.....she crawls in your lap, puts her paws on your shoulders and just snuggles in. We are looking for a loving home or fosterhome for this little girl so she can be safe and warm for the holiday!

Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group.

Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way ...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abigail, a Sacramento Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
