I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Cookie was just rescued from the shelter and needs a great home! Here is what her rescuer has to say about this cutie:
Funny and crazy sweet is Cookie! Not sure exactly what all she is but she has web feet and she loves the water! Some think maybe Great Dane and others think Bull Terrier mixed with Lab. Whatever she is, shes a nice looking dog with a tall sleek body and easy maintenance. She has learned basic obedience of sit, stay, down and we are still working on others. She does like to pull on leash and we are really working on that one. Cookie gets a long with most other dogs but has high energy and excitement that can be read as aggression with other dogs. If there are other dogs in the family, she would do better with dogs her size or larger. She plays too rough for small dogs and could hurt them. Maybe in time she will grow out of that but she is very young still under 1 year old and she just loves to play. Also, introductions to other dogs should be done slowly and carefully. I wouldn't take her to dog parks since her excitement can be read wrong by some other dogs. Again, once she matures she might not be so excitable. Cookie needs more interaction with humans and she can be shy and fearful of men at first although once she knows them she is fine. Cookie knows how to use the doggie door although I will not say she is completely house broken. The family who wants to adopt Cookie should know she is a work in process. She needs more interaction with other dogs and people. Daily walks exposing her to elements that excite her will help with her training. Cookie needs a family willing to work with her and continue her training to help her become the dog she can be. Cookies is loveable and very sweet and will be a great companion to the lucky family who adopts her.
