Lacey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Lacey's Story...
Lacey was just rescued from the shelter and needs a great home! She is such a beautiful sweet girl that just needs a bit of TLC. Lacey is about 2 years old and around 70lbs or so. She is pretty darned shy at first, but once she gets comforable she is really sweet! She seems fine with other dogs, kitties and children, but due to her shyness, we are looking for a patient dog experienced home for this sweet girl!

Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group.

Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us.

We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a Sacramento Pointer/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Cattle Dog for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Pointer/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Pointer/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
