Decia's Story...
What a little honey! Decia was born July 3, 2006 and will be ready to leave her mother and littermates by the end of August. (You can meet and reserve her before that day.) Decia has been vet checked, vaccinated, and dewormed. Before she is adopted she will be spayed. Decia will probably weigh around 20 pounds as an adult. Her mother (a 20 lb. Heeler / Terrier mix who looks just like her pups) is a Hurricane Katrina survivor from Mississippi. Decia is very sweet, friendly and playful! In this picture, she is in the arms of a little 2 year old boy. To meet her, call the SCHS at 507-451-4512. (CE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Decia, a Owatonna Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
