Zena's Story...
Zena is a female, Vizsla, about 1 1months old, medium to large in size. She is good with kids, cats, and dogs, and housebroke. She is friendly and has lots of energy. Zena was surrendered to the shelter, because her former owner does not have time to care for her properly. She is ready to go home with a caring, responsible guardian who will walk and play with her daily. Use ID# 12-27-5. More Info and pictures Tuesday, 1/4, but you can meet and adopt her today. If you are interested in any of our homeless pets, please CALL IMMEDIATELY. Due to lack of staff and time to check email, we ask that you call the shelter at 574-896-5060 to insure that contact is made. Our hours are: Mon.-Sat., 10am-4pm central. If unable to get through to staff during public hours, please keep calling until contact is made. If calling after hours, please, leave a message on the answering machine. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zena, a North Judson Vizsla dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Vizsla for sale in North Judson, or seeking a Vizsla dog from a breeder in North Judson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Judson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Judson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Vizsla breeders who help with Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Judson paves the way for another one to be saved.
