Peaches's Story...
My name is Peaches because, you guessed it, I'm the color of a peach and I'm as sweet as one too! I was rescued from a trailer park that I was dumped in as a baby. It was pretty rough going at first since I was a kitten but I managed to survive and finally made it to F.A.T. Cat Haven. They saved my starving little body and my life. I couldn't get adopted because I was so shy and no one would give me a chance to get to know them. I'm okay now. I'm a lover, playful and love attention now. I really am still a baby 'cause I'm only about 2 years old. Did you see the picture of me in the catnip? Boy that was fun - and messy. Do you have room in your home and heart for me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Crescent City Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Crescent City, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Crescent City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crescent City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crescent City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crescent City paves the way for another one to be saved.
