Piper's Story...
Meet Piper. Piper is an amazing girl. She is a 4 year old Terrier with an amazing heart. 'I'm gonna love you like nobody loves you' is her theme song! Everything Piper does is intense, right down to her eye contact, cuddling and display of adoration. She is guaranteed to make you smile and feel all warm and fuzzy! She is also a tom-boy and loves to rough-house with other dogs...playing with Piper is not for sissy-dogs. She would make a marvelous Roller Derby girl if she were a human!

Piper is microchipped, spayed and up to date on all her shots...ready for her new home!

Piper's adoption fee is $100. Please call the shelter to make arrangements to meet Piper.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Columbia American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Columbia, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
