My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We wish all of you the best for the holiday season and throughout the New Year

Ugly Mutts Committee and Volunteers are currently taking a much needed break over the holiday season and will be back first thing in the new year. We had a wonderful year in 2010 having made many new friends and contacts. There were over 250 adoptions done this year and all have found wonderful new homes. We invite you to check out the Happy Tails pages to see how they are transitioning into their new homes.

As most of you know, Christmas time can be overly hard on pets and it is at this time of year that many find themselves looking for new homes. Ugly Mutts Dog Rescue is doing what we can to ensure our foster spots are filled and that we can help as many as possible to find their new forever home. Please come back and check with us in the new year if you are looking to adopt or are able to open your home and heart to foster a dog.

Special Thanks go out to:

Laura from the Zine for all her generous donations. She has been a tremendous supporter to Ugly Mutts over the years and has filled many hungry bellies as well as giving happiness to many dogs in the way of toys and supplies to aid in their care. She has also donated both her time and money to help make this rescue an ongoing success.

Tom from Copydog for his help with flyers, business cards and the wonderful Bumper Stickers! The bumper stickers will be available for a small donation and if interested in having one please send a quick email with your interest to sara@uglymutts.com

Sandy of Country Kennels for her help and support with all the dogs.

And of course to all our volunteers, fosters and families who know that

“Saving One Dog Might Not Change The World, But It Can Sure Change The World For That One Dog.”

Many dogs are currently being assessed and will be posted for adoption in the coming weeks. We hope you will come have a look to see if one of them might be just the right fit for your family!

We look forward to meeting many new friends and families in the coming year.

All the best,

Ugly Mutts Dog Rescue
