Velvet's Story...
Hi! My name is Velvet. I am a sweet girl, full of energy, and very affectionate. I enjoy the company of humans and like to play with other doggies. I am under a year old and may still have some growing to do, but I only weigh about 30 lbs right now. I do well crated and seem to be housetrained. I would enjoy a family that is outdoorsy and likes to hike or run. A fenced yard and a friend to throw a ball for me would help me get the exercise that I need also. I think that I am a lap dog and love to cuddle I also ride well in the car. Basically, I'm just a great dog that loves life! If I seem like a good match for your family, please email the rescue and ask for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Velvet, a Hamburg Flat-Coated Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
