INITIAL BIO 12/26/2010: Jackie-O is a lovely 1.5 year old 16 lb Silky Terrier who was rescued from sure euthanasia on Christmas Eve. Stood up by all three adopters, she is now safe and happy with her foster family in Largo, FL. She had this to say:
"Well, hi everyone! Let me introduce myself. I am Jackie. I am 16lbs of pure solid love. Foster Mom says I have to be 16lbs to hold all the love I have for my furever family. I love to kiss. My best Christmas present was getting out of the shelter and spending the night in a nice warm bed (it's chilly in South Florida these days, and my cage was outdoors!). My face was cut short at the shelter, but we girls know hair always grows back!
I am fun, and full of energy, and would love a family to play with. Foster Mom said I was unsure of where I was at first and whether or not I was going to have to leave again, so she let me sleep with all the lights on, and foster mom held me in her arms all night long. So far I don't really like my cat foster sister, but we need to work on that. I do love my dog foster sisters, and sometimes I play too rough with them (they're itty bitty); so foster mom throws toys for me. I don't have a yard here, but I think I would love a yard to play in. Did I mention I love to play? I think I'd love a kid or two also! Oh yeah, I only had one accident in the house so far, and have gone outside for potty ever since, so I think I have that down.
