Diego's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Diego's Story...
Here is the most wonderful bonded pair of Akitas you will ever find -- Ginger and Deigo!! Adopted a few years ago to a great home in AZ, sadly the family has lost their home due to the economy so Ginger & Diego came back to ARWNY in NJ. Ginger is about 6, Deigo about 5. Both are wonderfully housebroken, up to date on shots, altered, and crate trained. They walk well on leashes and are super with all humans. Other pets are a no-no but who needs other pets when you have this much love from two fabulous Akitas? Please consider them - having two Akitas is double the fun and they keep each other company when you aren't home!! These are two very special Akitas to ARWNY and we want the best of forever homes for them - hopefully that means YOUR home!! Ginger and Deigo are fully vetted and ready to walk right into your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diego, a East Amherst Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita for sale in East Amherst, or seeking a Akita dog from a breeder in East Amherst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Amherst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Amherst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita breeders who help with Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Amherst paves the way for another one to be saved.
