Gabby's Story...
Please contact Angel's Heart Dog Rescue (626-340-9316) and not Canine and Kitty Co-op.
(See U-tube video) - Gabby is a 4 year old female Aussie Shepherd mix who was rescued from a property in Mojave, Ca. where an animal hoarder abandoned a bunch of dogs. The dogs were fighting triple digit weather in the summer and freezing cold in the winter. Gabby is a sweet dog whose only deficit in life seems to be that in spite of her harsh beginnings, now that she has a chance at a loving home, she's passed over because she's not as cute as many of the other dogs posted online, so it's easy to move onto other dogs. But Gabby is a great dog. She has an absolutely gorgeous black and chocolate brown coat, with some white markings on her chest and underneath. (So far, she has not shed at all which is a plus.) She's a great medium-sized dog, only weighing 40 lbs. and is not hyper. She loves to go on car rides and walks, and would be a great second dog as she is so very dog friendly! She is an easy going, "no issues" dog that can blend into any household or already existing pet situation. Big or little dogs, young people, older people; it does not matter; she accepts everyone. Gabby has been to the vet and has a good heart, legs and elbows. Don't be fooled by the white on her chin. Many dogs right after spaying get some white on their face, but Gabby is no more than age four. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a Bellflower Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
