Stringbean & Peapod's Story...
Kitty Connection is courtesy posting on behalf of Worchester Animal Rescue League (WARL):

Stringbean ((black and white kitten, male) and Peapod (gray, female) were born around June 24. They came to WARL as orphans when they were about 2-weeks-old and were raised as bottle babies. They are up-to-date on vaccines and deworming. They had a vet check and were neutered / spayed but tested positive for Felv. Because they tested positive for Felv, they have to be only cats or with other cats that test Felv positive. To ready more about Felv, please visit:

They are sweet, happy-go-lucky kittens that are hoping for a chance at a loving home. If you are interested in adopting them, please contact Kitty Connection.
Update: Stringbean & Peapod will be a year old soon. Stringbean, the black & white male, is an energetic adolescent while his sister Peapod (gray) loves to snuggle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stringbean & Peapod, a Medford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Medford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
