Isabella's Story...
Isabella - Looking for a home! She is a sweet very outgoing girl. She does well with other cats, and goes everywhere with you! Isabella was pulled from a local shelter due to an eye infection she came in with that was scarring her eye and risking possible damage to her vision. After months of eye medication her eye is all healed with no vision damage. She does have a small scar which will diminish over time. She will require some brushing as she does have very long thick hair. She also likes to ride on your shoulder and is never without her purr! She would do good with children or without, but may need someone or another cat to keep her busy as she is very busy. She is spayed, leukemia / FIV tested (negative for both), de-wormed, flea treated, and started on her vaccines. She is approx. 8 months of age but she is a very small kitten. She weighs about 4 lbs and is not expected to grow to be more than 6 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isabella, a Mt. Pleasant Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Mt. Pleasant, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Mt. Pleasant.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Pleasant already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Pleasant breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Pleasant paves the way for another one to be saved.
