Cassie's Story...
This little girl came up from Tennessee as part of our southern dog rescue efforts. She is a sweet 8lb girl that is about 2-3years old. She looks like a tiny Jack Russel Terrier with the personality of a mild Chihuahua. Cassie has been getting along well with the other dogs in her foster home and is respectful to cats. She loves to give kisses and cuddle with her human. When she wants to play she gets on her back and rolls around begging for belly rubs and your arm to play with. Cassie acts like a typical chihuaha and loves to burrow under blankets and towels, shes a little goof ball. She has been quiet in the house and will go into her crate without a fight. If you would like to set up an appointment to meet her fill out an application on our site http://www.brokentailrescue.org. Cassie is being fostered in Charlestown, MA

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassie, a Worcester Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
