ZEKE's Story...
This boy is a KEEPER! Wonderful off-leash and such a lover!! ZEKE is about 1 yr. old, house and crate trained, LOVES other dogs, great with the cat and thinks kids are the 'cat's meow'!! He's been around horses and does very well. LOVES to ride in the car and go places. ZEKE is one of those 'all-round' dogs that will camp, hike, fish... anything! He LOVES to swim and will fetch out of the water for hours if you let him. He's not a barker and will do very well with another dog in the home to keep him company. Visit www.therightcarefordogs.com to fill out a Family Profile Form if you're interested in meeting ZEKE. Call me at 208-365-6844 or email to jvand2dogs@yahoo.com to find out more. THANKS!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ZEKE, a Emmett Border Collie/Irish Setter dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Irish Setter for sale in Emmett, or seeking a Border Collie/Irish Setter dog from a breeder in Emmett.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Emmett already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Emmett breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Irish Setter breeders who help with Border Collie/Irish Setter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Emmett paves the way for another one to be saved.
