Fisher's Story...
Fisher ia a 1 - 2 yr old sweet boy. He is such a love. Fisher is sweet and kind. He LOVES to play with stuffed toys....he will even carry one in his mouth on his walks. Fisher is fully housebroken, he walks well on leash (pulls a little, but we are training him out of this). Fisher definitely needs a fenced in yard to be happy, not because of his energy, but because he loves to run in the yard and play with toys. He is UTD on shots, preventives, neutered and looking for a family to love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fisher, a Alexandria Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Alexandria, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Alexandria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alexandria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alexandria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alexandria paves the way for another one to be saved.
