Dee-Adopted's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Dee-Adopted's Story...
Dee's former owner could not take care of her due to a financial hardship. Unfortunately she let
her care go past due as well. Dee was in need of a good grooming as her coat was somewhat
matted and her hair so long that it was covering up her pretty eyes. Now she has already had a
visit to the vet to get updated on her vaccines and had a grooming. She is at a new foster home
where she has another dog for company, a cat who is in hiding at the moment, and is getting
a lot of attention from people. She is already following her foster mom around the house.Dee is an affectionate dog that likes to cuddle and will happily sit in your lap. She also is a very playful dog that enjoys her toys and will initiate play with the other dog at her house. She doesn't mind at all if you choose to dress her up to take her outside in a sweater and seems to enjoy it. She likes to run and play outside in the yard. She will make a wonderful new companion when she finds her new forever family. Dee weighs about 13 pounds. Birth date 11/5/07

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dee-Adopted, a Detroit Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
