Dasher's Story...
Dasher is a dashing young 1-2 yr old black/rust male with natural ears and docked tail. Read all about Dasher's story on the DAR&E website, He's now a healthy and happy young dog who is ready for a home to call his own! Dasher is crate trained and house trained; he runs happily into his crate when you ask him to. He gets so happy when he sees you, his little tail won't stop wagging! He knows sit and is learning down; he will try anything to earn a treat, which he takes very gently with his mouth. He LOVES to play with other dogs, so if there is another dog in the home, get ready for lots and lots of playing. He would do fine also as an only dog and really deserves to be the center of attention. Since we don't know his background with children, a home with kids over age 12 is suggested. He has not been tested around cats. DAR&E only places within the Maryland, DC, West Virginia and Virginia area. Please do no apply to adopt if you live outside of those areas. Please visit our website ( for additional information on adopting one of our DAR&E Dobermans & an online application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dasher, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
