Oda Mae is a Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie/Golden Retriever Mix. She is Tan. Oda Mae is 3-4 Years Old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs around 25 lbs.
Oda Mae is a wonderful sweet mellow gal! She was picked up by a nice gentlemen on a snowy road and than he brought her to the pound. As soon as we saw Oda Mae we knew we had to bring her from the pound to the rescue. She's currently enjoying her foster home and loves hanging around the other dogs and getting to know everyone. Oda Mae loves to play with the other dogs no matter what size they are! She still hasn't gotten used to going on the furniture and prefers to lay on the floor on her blanket or bed. She will only get on the furniture if a kid asks her to come up. She adores children and would love to spend all her time with them. Oda Mae also loves to spend time outdoors with you, she's very comfortable on a leash and likes to stay close by while your walking around town. Oda Mae would love to have a forever family of her own and would love someone to cuddle with and call her own.
Oda Mae would do well in any household. She loves all adults, kids and other dogs she's met so far. Oda Mae would love to have a home with children! Oda Mae walks very well on the leash and enjoys going for walks with you so she can stand next to you and enjoy the snowy outdoors. She is also completely housetrained and hasn't been in a crate since being in the rescue so we're not sure how she would do in one. She also doesn't get up on furniture so if your a family who would prefer dogs to stay off the couch Oda Mae is your girl! Oda Mae is currently in a foster home with two other dogs and three children so adding her to a busy household would be fine with her! She would love a fenced in yard so she would get to play with other dogs or children during the summertime without having to worry about being leashed. Oda Mae is a very simple girl who is very nice to have around. She's always wagging her tail and looks to have a smile on her face.
Oda Mae is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming and Flea/Tick Prevention.
