Boyd's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Boyd's Story...
I was raised with my 8 brothers and sisters in a great foster home. 4 of my siblings got adopted in a flash so I'm waiting to go...I know I won't last long as I'm one of the sweetest. I think I was born first as I'm the smartest and bravest. I love to play and romp with the rest of the gang and run, run, run. You can see me at PetSmart on Sat or Sun between 11-4 at Shepherd and Alabama or call 21-753.0136 for an appt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boyd, a Houston Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
