Gunner's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gunner's Story...
They call me 'Gentle Gunner' and let me tell you that gets embarrassing! Look at me, a big tough looking fellow and everyone is spilling my secret of being a big softy. They even refer to me as a 'marshmallow' ! Ok, so I am a very nice boy. I do well with other dogs and cats and I do wonderful around small children. I know all my basic commands and I am housebroken too. I am fully crate trained but the sometimes stubborn Shepherd comes through and I don't wanna go in, good thing I behave so well cuz I eventually will do whatever you ask me too! 4 years old- 80lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; current shots, neuter, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, 5 week training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunner, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
