My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince: 5 yr old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 13", 16 lb. Shots up-to-date.
Prince is a gorgeous, regal, handsome dog with a kind and sweet temperament. He had little human handling before turn in by a breeder, and unfortunately his first exposure had to be heartworm treatment, so it took a while to earn his trust. Although cautious, he is accepting of touch and socialization with us. He enjoys being petted and will seek us out but likes to stand a foot away and stretch forward to be touched. Prince is unusual for a minpin in that he is "grounded" - he doesn't get on furniture, the couch, or the bed! Unheard of with most min pins! He will sit in my lap if invited and enjoys the attention. He also enjoys being fed and will jump straight-up while waiting on his dinner. He likes to play with his toys and doesn't tear them up. His favorite thing to do is doze in the sun. He is crate trained and house trained. He will walk on a leash but will not potty while leashed. He likes his privacy when doing his business so Prince will need a fenced yard. His heartworm treatment is complete and he is very healthy. Prince will be a loyal and perfect canine companion for the lucky person who adopts him.
