My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ORIGINAL BIO 1/15/2011: My name is Nemo. I am a 1 year old 9.2 lb little Yorkie boy who is currently being fostered in Miami, FL. I should probably weigh closer to 10-11 lbs.

I was adopted from a high-kill shelter last week, but my owners must not have thought I was a FUR-ever commitment. They brought me home, but when I developed an upper respiratory infection, they brought me right back to the same high-kill shelter they got me from (I guess they wanted their money back). I am not feeling well right now. I am sick with a runny nose, cough, fever, and I'm not eating or drinking well. Foster mommy has to carry me outside, because I don't want to walk either.

Foster mommy says that whoever didn't give me a chance doesn't understand that kennel cough is curable and that when I am better, I am going to be just fine. Right now I am on antibiotics, fluids, syringe feedings, and very very high doses of a thing called TLC. (I like taking that medicine!) Foster mommy says that I am a sweetheart of a puppy. I am curious about the other dogs (even though we are being kept separate right now), and that soon I am going to be back to my playful self. Oh yeah, no potty accidents inside yet. I do cry a little when you're out of my sight. Considering all I've been through, can you blame me?

Now that you've "FOUND NEMO", don't you want to take him home with you? (I just couldn't resist it! hehe)
