My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Jo! Jo is a gorgeous dark blonde tabby. She has some stripes on her but also has leopard spots on her sides. Very unique! Jo is about 5 months old and is completely vaccinated, spayed and tested for FeLV/FIV. She is a healthy, happy little girl.

Jo was rescued from a kill shelter where she was going to be gassed because of over-crowding. We were able to save her and are now looking for a loving, safe home for her. Due to her difficult start to life, Jo is initially mistrustful of strangers. Once she gets to trust you, she is extremely loving, sweet and outgoing. But she will need a loving person who understands her and is willing to work with her to overcome her initial shyness. I truly believe she will outgrow this shyness as she learns to trust. Jo will need someone to adopt her who understands her past and is willing to work with her to bring her out of her shell. She has already made great strides on this. You will be rewarded by the sweetest kitty in the world. She sleeps on my bed with me, purrs and purrs and walks on her tiptoes as she purrs. She loves other cats and gets along fine with my dogs. She is very bright and knows her name. She loves to play with feathers and does crazy leaps in the air!
