Jack - Adopt me!'s Story...
Jack was adopted from the Kamloops shelter but unfortunately that home didn't work out. He's not that big in size, only 48 lbs, but is high energy and needs a pet parent who is the same. Jack's foster mom loves to hike and now so does Jack! He is completely trusted when left alone in the house.

Jack has a very nice temperament and is very gentle with his kisses. A dog savvy kid would be fine with him. On walks, he lets little kids pet him and he's great with other dogs. His foster sister, Lucy, LOOOVVES him. They like to wrestle and she's tries to unlock the crate to play with him. Jack has his basic commands down and is 100% house trained. He is very food motivated which makes training much easier!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack - Adopt me!, a Vancouver Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
