My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1-11-015 King - male, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, altered, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-), ~1yr, ~70lbs, Shepherd/Scotch Collie (like Lassie).

King is a handsome, friendly boy. He enjoys being around other dogs and gets along with all sizes of them – even though he is bigger then most he avoids confrontation and tends to wander off if a dog doesn’t want to be friendly, he is fine with cats and fine with respectful children of any age. King is house trained and crate trained, he is used to sleeping in his crate at night and when left alone but can likely be given free roam of his new home once used to it. King would be a great dog on his own or as a second dog. He is young at only a year but is very well mannered for his age, he knows not to jump up and a few other basic commands, he could use some leash training. This gentle giant is very sweet natured, he is calm in the home but bouncy, active and fun when outdoors. King would love to be your nature companion and join you on hikes, playing in the park or going to the cottage. Over all King is an easy going guy that would fit in to just about any household. He likes to spend time outside with his family but isn’t an outdoor dog, he’d be happiest in a house with a fenced yard.

What do we want in an adopter for King? A house with a fully fenced yard.
