Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bubba Buttercup is an 8 yr. old male Pug who likes nothing more than to sit with you on the couch and hang out. He's very trim with a nice waistline. Bubba gets along with all the other dogs in the house, but has no desire to try to play with them. He just likes to watch. He's also great with cats and kids.
Bubba was used to sleeping in his crate at night but has decided that sleeping in bed with us is a lot cozier! Especially under the covers. And, amazingly, he isn't a snorter like most dogs of his breed so we get to sleep, too. He isn't fond of the cold snow and just runs outside to do his business and wants to run right back in (whereas most of his Peke foster brothers and sisters love the snow and we have to bribe them to come back into the warmth!).
Bubba does have some odd habits, especially when it comes to eating. He was an only dog, so food was left down for him all day - not possible in a household with many dogs. He likes to serenade his food. Bubba talks to his bowl in low sing-song tones and likes to dump some on the floor either with his snout or his paw so that he's standing in it. Then he picks up piece by piece to eat it - or play with it. Bubba doesn't like people food - except for potato chips (especially sour cream and chive). He doesn't eat dog treats.
Bubba is being fostered near Mays Landing, NJ and his asking adoption fee is $175.

Please read about adopting from us on our home page by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
