Teddy's Story...
Hi Everyone! My name is Teddy! I was born into a feral colony and was found by a lovely lady when I was only 1 week of age. I had a very large wound in my inner thigh. She realized I needed help desperately and rushed me to see a doctor. Once I arrived the doctor made an unreal discovery.. I had over 100 magets in my wound, if it wasn't for them keeping my wound clean I probably would have died. Thanks to the loving care I received I am now a very happy, friendly, snuggly and playful boy who lives life to the fullest! The only thing missing in my life is a furrever home, is it with you?? I am currently at Petcetera in Millwoods Towne Center in Edmonton, AB. Come by and say Hi! I have been neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated and micro-chipped!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Edmonton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
