My story

Hello I am Amanda -

I am a delightfully sweet and affectionate 2 year old little girl. I was saved from a county shelter by Brigid's Crossing after it was discovered that I am deaf. I also have a very slight ataxia (wobbling gait) but nothing that gets in my way of enjoying life.

Despite having no hearing, I am very vocal. I love to talk and cuddle. I am mellow and can spend most of my time lounging after i tour the new house. I really enjoy looking out the window and observing the world outside. I also really like to play and I especially enjoy the "feather on a stick" toys along with games of hide and seek. And don't worry about the vacum cleaner - loud noises don't scare me.

I am currently in a house with a lot of cats here at Brigid's Crossing which is a no-cage sanctuary. Although I am grateful for the freedom of a cage-free environment, the other cats make me nervous and so i beg for the room i have been using that is just for me. This, of course, slows the ability for the sanctuary to take in more kitties because they need the rooms to isolate the new cats when they first come in. The care-givers are very patient and loving with me and I am honored that they are trying to help me find my forever home where i will be loved and appreciated for the sweet little girl that I am. By adopting me you save 2 kitties; you get me to snuggle with and love and you also create the space for another kitty in need to be rescued just like I was.
