Gracie's Story...
This cute and playful litter of pups came to the rescue when their owner was unable to find them a home. Their mom was a border collie but they look like they may have a little beagle or hound in them as well. They are 10 weeks old (1/17) and are finally ready for homes of their own! They have had two sets of shots. They LOVE to play and get along great with cats and dogs and are used to little kids as well. Their foster mom has four small grandchildren that do a great job socializing them. Because they are so young they will not be spayed or neutered prior to coming to their new homes. Their new family will receive a 50$ rebate when they have it done at 6 months of age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Harrisonburg Border Collie/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Border Collie/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Border Collie/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
