Raisinette's Story...
Hi, I'm Raisinette. I'm about 3 months old and weigh 10 pounds. I look like a little spaniel mix, but it's way too early to tell what I'm going to grow up to be, so if you want to adopt me, you have to be willing to take pot luck! I'm a very sweet girl, a typical puppy who likes to play and sleep, play and sleep. I'm a good cuddler, too. Because I'm still very much baby, I MUST go to a home with a stay-at-home person who will help me along with my training, socialization, housebreaking and give me plenty of exercise.

You can meet me at my current foster home: Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Rd., any time during normal store hours. (phone 847-251-6750)

My adoption fee of $325 includes: vet exam, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, microchip, deworming and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raisinette, a Mt. Prospect Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
