THIS IS NIKO....an absolutely precious, 11 lb, gray/white, 1 yr old ShihPoo... who is full of puppy energy and love. This wonderful little man was dumped in the North Central Shelter with a broken leg...but Niko took it all in stride. He didn't like being sequestered for six weeks while he was healing, so when he got out, he let everyone know that he has wonderful puppy power!! While he isn't a hyper dog, he can be very curious and busy, like most puppies! He has a very mellow side to him and loves attention. He's great with cats, dogs, kids (over 5 yrs old please) and everyone and everything. The only time we hear him bark is when he wants to go outside or to alert his humans if a stranger is approaching. He will also bark letting you know of his displeasure if you separate him from humans or dogs in the house!! He loves to play with toys, other dogs and tug of war is one of his favorite pasttimes. Another, active, young, small canine buddy MUST be in his furture...along with a yard for him to run around and exercise in...not to mention 2-3 walks a day. You'll thank us for this advice! Niko is a treasure and any family who adopts this babydoll will be bringing a fantastic "son" into their lives. Might that be with you?
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

We hold our adoption events most every Sunday from 10am - 3pm at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064).. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
