Riley's Story...
My name's Riley, a tiny boy in search of a warm lap & a warm heart. The volunteers believe I'm a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. I only weigh about 7 lbs. I've got the sweetest, most endearing temperament. I absolutely love getting lots of attention & being fussed over. My friend Bridget & I were abandoned together. If you're looking for two little cuties, we're quite a darling duo. Mostly, what I'm wishing for is a family who has time for me. My heart couldn't handle being abandoned again. I'm a great affectionate companion. I am 1-2 years old. The vet says I'm healthy & sweet. I've been neutered, vaccinated & heartworm/Lyme tested. Hoping you can't resist me & will contact pals@psknet.com for an adoption application. Or, complete an application at www.radfordpoundpals.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Radford Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Radford, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
