Jesse's Story...
Jesse is a beautiful Aussie Shepherd mix. She has one blue eye and one brown eye adding to her unique looks. She's about 4 months old. Built ruggedly tough, Jesse loves to run and play non-stop. But, she comes to a screeching halt when she sees people! Jesse LOVES people of all ages and has the second quickest tongue in the west. Jesse needs a big yard, active loving family who will take her hiking, camping and chasing the wind! Then accept big sloppy kisses from a short stocky puppy who is grateful to be alive. Jesse has been spayed, has her puppy shots and has been wormed. She comes to her new home with her health records, new collar and leash, some chew toys to keep her busy and a whole lot of sweetness. Jesse is a puppy and needs some additional housetraining but she is crate trained. She could easily learn to use a doggie door. She would also make an excellent obedience dog. Her adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in Miss Jesse, please email for a match making form and an in home meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jesse, a Phoenix Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
