MIdnight's Story...
Midnight is a super sweet 10 year old boy who was surrendered when his mommy had to go in to a nursing home. It was very traumatic for him, but fortunately he has adjusted & is doing well. He lives with and tolerates several other cats and a few small dogs, but would be perfectly happy to be the only cat & get all of the attention :) another pet or two would be ok, he will just need some time & patience on your part to adjust to yet again another home. Midnight is neutered, fiv/flev negative, and current on vaccines & vet care. We can also micro chip him for $10- Please give this boy the 2nd chance he truly deserves.. Call 817-991-6801 or tanarexic@hotmail.com for an application or more info. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MIdnight, a Fort Worth Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
