Bree's Story...
Bree and Blaze are shep mix pups. Bree is the female with the pink collar. They are going to be about 50 lbs full grown. They are cute and cuddly and playful pups, but please remember that puppyhood is brief, and they will soon be full-grown dogs. Raised properly, with time, patience and appropriate training, they have the potential to be truely wonderful family pets that will be faithful to their owners for the rest of their lives. You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bree, a Youngwood Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
