Molly's Story...
Molly is a playful 1 1/2 year old female, salt and pepper colored schnauzer with natural ears. She was found as a stray and was very shy at first. Within days she took over the household and is considered an alpha leader. She is a vocal talker and loves to play with other dogs and people. As a playful puppy, she loves toys and is a bit mouthy - taking your hand into her mouth but never bites. Molly can get overweight so she should not have a lot of fattening foods. She is housebroken and uses a dog door. She would be good with older children. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. This dog will not be at our Saturday adoption sites. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please call Penny Adams at 619-466-0426.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Spring Valley Miniature Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
