Lexie's Story...
Lexie is a wonderful little black and white female around 9 months old. She has gorgeous gold and green eyes and she is oh so sweet. Left in a carrier at a dumpster with Ebony(above) she is ready for a real home where no one will ever dump her again. We think that Ebony may be her mother but we don't know for sure. She is spayed, tested NEG for FELV and has her current vaccines. Her adoption fee is $90.00. If you are looking for a pair then she and Ebony would be perfect together since they love each other. Please call Laurie @ 480-236-9453.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexie, a Mesa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
