Maynard (AE)'s Story...
MMaynard is a 4 month old black and tan male labradoodle mix puppy. He was born in early October at the local animal shelter and his wonderful mother raised him and his siblings there. Maynard's mom appeared to be a cream labradoodle, but we don't know what his dad is. Maynard's mom was about 60 pounds, so we are expecting Maynard to be a large sized dog as an adult. (We do have a photo of Maynard's mom if you are interested.) Maynard appears to have a medium length wavy hair much like his mom had. It is a normal coat with lots of wavy "whiskers" sticking through!

Maynard is an active and healthy puppy who has had all of his vaccinations, deworming, and heartworm preventative. Maynard has been neutered and is ready to go to his new home! He is working on his leash and obedience training and is doing very well!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maynard (AE), a Foster Labrador Retriever/Poodle (Standard) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Poodle (Standard) for sale in Foster, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Poodle (Standard) puppy from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Poodle (Standard) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Poodle (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
