Bristal's Story...
This little girl is Bristol the pistol from Austin, Texas. She appears to have very good vision and you will notice she has a merle eye which is two colors. Her coat is lovely and will change somewhat as she matures. Bristol made her way to us via private planes across Texas and then wonderful volunteers transported her on ground the rest of the way. She was born on 10/10/10, she is a very happy, dependent puppy Bristol is learning her doggie manners and is being trained with a doggie door. She already knows basic hand commands, but, whether she will listen is another thing. She loves to be with her foster family and play with the other dogs.
She is up to date on shots, has had an eye exam and will be spayed when age appropriate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bristal, a Mesa Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
