Hello I'm Kelly. Doesn't my face just say it all? Hopefully you can see that my face is saying I'm a sweet, loving, feminine girl ready for you to take me home. May I tell you what my dream life would be like?
My dream life would be you and me hanging out together on the couch or sleeping in bed. You'll be petting me on my face, chin and back, and I'll be purring softly for you. You'll feel love and calm from me. Or if you have a family, then my dream life would be me as part of a loving family, where conversations happen and there is lots of laughter and love. That just sounds delightful.
That dream life has not been my life so far. I was a stray cat in New Mexico and was taken to a shelter there. I had three kittens so I went into foster care. Then I got transferred to the MaxFund so I can find a forever home. I did test positive for FIV, so I should not live with a smoker. But I can still live a long and healthy life, and FIV is not transmittable to dogs or humans. In fact, it is transmittable to cats via penetrating bites, and I am clearly not a fighter. Anyway, here I am in Colorado trying to find a new home so I can start living my dream life.
The volunteers here say I have a cute personality. I may be shy initially but then I'm really affectionate. If you stroke my nose, I will lean into it. I love making biscuits (kneading the blanket) even if there is no one around to pet me. I'm just such a happy cat that I'll kneed without you. So how about it? Will you help to make my dream life come true and come meet me today? I hope so! I can't wait!
