Frankie's Story...
Frankie is a beautiful male shih tzu, who is approximately 3-4 years old. He can be an escape artist when moved to a new location, so potential owners will need to have a safe, enclosed fenced yard. He suffers from separation anxiety and tends to chew when he is nervous, so he needs to be provided with safe chew toys. He is looking for an owner who is willing to work with him and take him to obedience classes. He is afraid of the stairs and his foster parents are working with him to teach him about the world around him. He is a sweet little guy. He needs a particular diet. Frankie is looking for a loving, patient, experienced dog owner to socialize him, train him, and love him forever! For more information on Frankie, please contact us today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Denver Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Denver, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
