My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a very special kitty. I lost my two other siblings to a nasty disease called FIP. Though I have yet to show any signs of developing the disease myself, my vet feels that since I was predisposed it's possible I can get it in the future. It could be in 8 years, it could never happen. She said that the safest thing to do would be to euthanize me since my future is so unclear. That said, C.A.T.S just couldn't do it. Instead, I am looking for what they are calling a "permanent foster home." This would be very different than a normal adoption because there will be no adoption fee and, if I do end up sick, C.A.T.S will do what they feel is medically necessary to alleviate my suffering. It is very important to note that FIP is NOT contagious, it results from a mutation of a very common virus that most cats have already had exposure to. If you are interested in giving me a loving home for the rest of my life, please contact Cats About Town.
