My name is Mollie!

Domestic Shorthair Cat for adoption in Oak Lawn, Illinois - Mollie

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Mollie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mollie's Story...
Mollie came to us from a bad hoarding situation out in Kendall County. She was starved and newly pregnant when we took her in, so we have spent the past few months working on her health and getting her ready for a TRUE home where she will be loved and properly cared for the rest of her life.

Mollie is approximately two years old....SUPER sweet...loves affection. She likes to be held...or just to be near you. She's very petite and has the most unique Tortie markings. This little girl is a GEM!

Mollie is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, feline tested negative, and litter box trained.

If you are interested in Mollie, please contact Kim, our Feline Adoption Coordinator, at kjayne@rornfp.org for more info.

Please note, we do not have a building, so there are no "viewing hours". Please email for an application as our volunteers may not be able to return your call ...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mollie, a Oak Lawn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oak Lawn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oak Lawn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Lawn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Lawn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Lawn paves the way for another one to be saved.
