Cooper's Story...
Cooper is a 10 year old lab mix that was given up by his owner. Cooper may have some cattle dog in him, but he is a mix breed. He is a little shy with new people, but will warm up and follow you around anywhere. He has a calm personality but still has lots of years left in him. Cooper has a few "fatty tumors" on his stomach, but he appears to be in good health. He gets along great with other dogs and would make someone looking for a low drive dog a great forever companion. He is neutered and current on all his shots. He is house broken and crate trained. If you would like more information or would like to fill out an application for Cooper, contact us at k9scome1st@aol.com. Cooper's adoption fee is $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Ft. Myers Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog for sale in Ft. Myers, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Ft. Myers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Myers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Myers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Myers paves the way for another one to be saved.
