Kolbi's Story...
DOB: 04/19/10 est.

Weight: 50 pounds

Kolbi is a love sponge! His affectionate personality will really win your heart. He is great with other dogs, cats and young children alike. He is playful with the dogs, will play bow to try to make friends with the kitties and gentle as can be with young children. He will give you "the paw" to entice you into petting him, so cute!

He is crate trained, and working hard on his house training. He is estimated to be between 8 to 10 months old now. It doesn't appear he had been trained to be an indoor dog before but has picked up on it quickly and loving every minute of it. He would benefit from the struture of and opportunity to bond with his new family in a formal basic obedience class. After all, he really still is just a big loving puppy!

If you are looking to add a beautiful, sweet four legged friend to your family, contact us to meet Kolbi, you won't be disappointed. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please contact us for more information or if you are interested in meeting Kolbi.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kolbi, a Coppell Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
