Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Hennah. Sometimes they call me Henna. I come anyway, if you sound like a quiet sort of person, and don't look angry. I am very shy, and get frightened by loud noises or loud, fast-moving, boisterous people. I am on a medical hold while my lungs get stronger (I have Valley Fever) and I gain a lot of weight, I am very, very skinny and have anemia, too. I am maybe 6 or 7 years old and even when I gain some weight will be a tiny basset, I weight about 30 pounds right now.
I am housetrained, and very good at looking reproachful if you make me get in a crate, but I will stay in there very nicely. I'm a good girl and don't want to be scolded, it frightens me. I love to ride in the car, or go for a walk or just stay with my foster mom while she reads. I am always in the same room as my foster mom. I use the doggy door but yelp anytime it bangs me in the face.
When I am better, I would like a home that is calm and quiet with no noisy children, or big, barky dogs please! I get along with other pets, and could live with an alpha type dog as I really don't want to boss anybody around.
