Tobie's Story...
Tobie is a 8 month old Husky mix. We see a little Shiba Inu or also Corgi mixed in with possibly a bit of German Shepherd for good measure! Whatever Tobie is comprised of, he is adorable and he knows it!

Tobie may not be a "big" dog per say, but he has a very big personality! He is sweet, fun and comical. He absolutely LOVES to play with other dogs (big and small) and does well with everyone he has met. He is still a pup so he has some learning and maturing to do but he is a great young pup who is looking for a forever home who will spend lots of time playing with him as well as cuddling all his cuteness!

Tobie will do well with an active family as he is a busy body but knows when it is time to settle down. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night with no accidents or complaints. He knows his basic commands of "sit" and "down" and is highly treat motivated and smart which will make future training easy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tobie, a Rochester/Buffalo Siberian Husky/Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Shiba Inu for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
